Come join our team! Mobius is seeking a Facility Requirements Analyst. Analysts will work closely with the GMD Architecture and Requirements team under the GM Chief Systems Engineer, providing high‑impact Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the mission by supporting GMD requirements development and architecture planning at MDA’s Huntsville, AL location.
Duties of a Facility Requirements Analyst may include:
- Support the government by updating GMD Element Specification requirements and ensuring industry partners provide verifiable evidence to meet those standards.
- Interpret and decompose complex DoD requirements to ensure all proposed and accepted specifications align with DoD regulations and MDA standards.
- Review architectural and engineering design submittals—such as 35%, 65%, and 95% design packages—to confirm that all technical and functional requirements are satisfied.
- Conduct trade studies and requirements analyses to ensure facility needs are properly aligned across integrated system architectures and multiple GMD facility contracts.
Qualifications
- 3+ years relevant experience with Facilities, System Requirements, and Requirement Verification.
- Relevant experience interpreting and decomposing military standards such as Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), MIL-SPECs, and other relevant DOD requirement standards, and verifying proposed requirements are fully compliant with established DOD standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience documenting and conveying detailed technical information.
- Familiarity with the MDA Systems Engineering processes and Requirement management and verification tools.
- Familiarity with the Ground-based Midcourse Defense technical architecture and capabilities.
- Prior MDA Systems Engineering experience highly desired.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years relevant experience with Department of Defense Systems Engineering principles and processes.
Clearance
- Active Secret clearance
