Initial term: 6 months (position expected to run longer)
Schedule: M -F / 7:30 - 4)

POSITION SUMMARY: 

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Factory Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some food production experience, strong knowledge of SAP, proficiency with Microsoft tools, and excellent data entry skills. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our production data, supporting seamless operations, and driving continuous improvement in data quality.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Management: Facilitate the conversion of strategic business decisions into production data within SAP throughout the data lifecycle.


• Data Validation: Validate input data from the factory floor against defined standards and work with data owners to resolve any issues related to incomplete, duplicative, or low-quality data.


• Data Entry: Perform accurate and timely data entry tasks, ensuring adherence to established data standards and guidelines.


• Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including production, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure timely execution of data in SAP to support seamless operations.


• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in data quality by applying established standards during data execution and supporting data governance processes.


• Problem Solving: Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to assess data issues and identify creative solutions across people, processes, and technology.


• Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of factory production experience.


• SAP Knowledge: Prior experience with SAP and understanding of its data dependencies.


• Microsoft Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft products, especially Excel and Access.


• Data Entry Skills: Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.


• Analytical Skills: Ability to perform research, error detection, root cause analysis, and error correction.


• Education: College degree preferred, but not required.

SKILLS:

• Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to assess data issues and identify creative solutions.


• Attention to Detail: Passion for providing superior service and focused attention to detail.


• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and data owners across various functional teams.


• Data Governance: Foundational knowledge of data governance, data stewardship, and data quality best practices is preferred.
