Job Description - Factory Service Technician


  Greenbridge is a leader in securement packaging solutions manufacturing plastic strapping, strapping equipment, power tools, large automated systems, metal fabricating, laminated goods and woven and non-woven cord. Greenbridge is also vertically integrated with Evergreen Plastics a PET beverage bottle recycling operation.

Our company has transitioned from selling items to creating superior customer value. We provide a comprehensive program of securement packaging products delivered logistically from one shipping point, which has simplified customer purchasing. We operate multiple sales, manufacturing and distribution locations around the world.

Greenbridge is seeking a self-starter Factory Service Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.


Requirements

 1. Provide service and customer support via phone support, factory support, and field visits.

2. Understanding reasonable amount of time needed to complete any task required

3. Manage all on site installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment

4. Capability of dealing with customers directly to maintain current relationships and grow new potentially valuable relationships

5. Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.

6. Tie workflow to schedule

7. Produce timely and detailed service reports

8. Document processes

9. Follow all companies filed procedures and protocols

10. Cooperate with technical team and share information across organization

11. Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings

12. Build positive relationship with customers

13. Help support shipping small parcel items.

14. Prep new equipment and Power tools

Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements:

Knowledge:

Understanding of electronic principals preferred

Understanding of mechanical principles preferred

Programming of PLC logic controllers and software preferred

Skills & Experience:

Microsoft Office – MS Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, Outlook, etc.

Good people skills

Requirements:

Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service equipment

Moderate lifting and carrying

Some walking, standing, crawling, kneeling, bending and climbing

Must be able to travel


Salary Description

$18.00/Hour -$20.00/Hour
