Factory Manager

Control Major Operational Costs to maximize profit.  

Insure the quality of the product and on time performance of the production to insure we “Get the Check”.

Functional Responsibilities:
The broadly defined areas of Factory Worker, including:

1.  Achieve Major Operational KPI’s .
Achieve and maintain key performance targets for:
•    Established productivity targets for their work station.
•    Seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
•    Reduce rework and insure efficient product flow.
•    Notify supervisor of any abnormalities in the work process.

2.  ClosetWare
Maintain and serve the system, and insure all operations entries are updated immediately for your work area.  Immediately report any problems to Factory Manager to insure you stay on track to achieve the day’s goals.  

3.  Jobs Ready
Insure all parts are ready based on the work required reports.
Report any missing materials that will not allow the parts to be ready per the schedule.
Utilize the job cart ready forms.
Insure all job carts are well identified with client name/number prominently displayed for easy identification.

4.  Facility, Equipment, And Safety
Insure all shop equipment is maintained according to manufacture's scheduled maintenance recommendations.
Keep your shop area clean and well organized.  Clean excess dust frequently throughout the day.  
Know where the Maintain MSDS book, first aid, eye wash, eye protection, and other safety related items are located and how to use.  
Get cross trained on as many areas of Factory operations as possible.  Keep a record of your training.
Become fork lift certified.
Be knowledgeable of software utilized to run major manufacturing equipment.
Be able to read designs/plans and identify exceptions.
Attend daily meetings and periodic safety committee meetings.  

5.  Customer Relations
Insure all parts are high quality and chip free.  Report any poor quality items to management immediately.  
Insure all parts are available so we can have an on-time installation.
Verify jobs are parts are made per plans.

6.  Cut List, Engineering And Sales Support
Work with cut list/engineering to insure all CAD related software instructions are correct.
Review any unclear jobs with Cut List personnel.
