The Clinical

Coordinator/Faculty

is a fully on-site position, primarily responsible for managing the Surgical Technologist program’s clinical experiences and teaching courses in a variety of modalities while promoting and supporting the vision and mission of Rasmussen University.

Responsibilities:
Clinical Site Planning, Implementation, and Assessment
Programmatic & Academic Support
Programmatic & Academic Student Success
Teaching Effectiveness: Professionalism, Use of Technology, and Content Expertise
Student Outreach and Support
Service to University & Community: Presence on Campus and Attendance at Meetings and Campus/Community Events
Professional Development and In-service

Requirements:
Associate's degree in Surgical Technology is required,

bachelor's preferred; ST or CST/CSFA licensure
Minimum of three years (or equivalent) full-time experience (either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology or a combination of both within the last 5 years)
Teaching experience preferred (Minimum of 1 year experience in the field of study)
Clinical faculty must adhere to Rasmussen University’s policy on faculty immunizations and provide proper documentation
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, and peers
Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills in the English language
Windows XP or greater and Microsoft office
