Family Assistant- Rowayton, CT (open to live-in or live-out)

Our client is seeking a responsible, energetic, and adaptable Family Assistant to provide full-time support in their home in Rowayton, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who is comfortable taking on a variety of tasks while maintaining a positive and organized atmosphere in the home. This position involves both childcare and household management responsibilities, and the candidate will work alongside a deep cleaner who visits weekly. 

Responsibilities: 

• Cooking: Prepare healthy, balanced meals for the family, accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences. 

• Driving: Transport children to various activities, ensuring punctuality and safety. 

• Childcare: Provide backup childcare as needed, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for the children. 

• Housekeeping: Light housekeeping duties for a 5,000 square-foot home, including making beds daily, tidying up common areas, and assisting with household organization projects. 

• Laundry: Assist with laundry for the children, washing, folding, and organizing. 

• Kitchen Management: Keep the kitchen tidy and organized, manage grocery shopping, and ensure all food items are stocked and properly stored. 

• Household Organization: Assist with managing inventory and organizational projects throughout the home. Handle online orders and returns as needed. 

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of similar experience  

• Ability to multitask and manage various household responsibilities efficiently. 

• Energetic, flexible, and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to the family’s needs. 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
