POSITION SUMMARY:

The FEC Coordinator will be responsible for the management, programming, and safety of Iron Peak's Climbing, Ninja, Aerial Ropes, and Arcade elements. This position will also be responsible for operating Iron Peak's retail space including but not limited to; staffing, inventory management, sales, equipment, vendor agreements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

FEC Roles & Responsibilities:

• Help with the implementation of marketing plan/strategy
• Develop and maintain staff schedules
• P&L management and reconciliation
• Create and promote program and activities within FEC
• Lead daily operations for all FEC functions
• Primary contact for all events and executor of bookings/contracts for the FEC
• FEC development and sales in-house and co-partnerships
• Monthly inventory count of redemption and retail items
• Maintaining and cleaning of the arcade equipment

• Other duties as assigned.

Retail Roles & Responsibilities:

• Retail sales and inventory control
• Supervise all aspects of the retail operations
• Train, schedule, and supervise retail team members
• Oversee and maintain all product pricing and properly maintain the POS and online platforms with accurate pricing, discounts, and controls
• Enforce proper cash handling policies and procedures
• Maintain inventory control and make certain all store merchandise is property displayed and tagged
• Ensure the Retail areas are clean, attractive, and properly maintained
• Assist in preparation of the annual budget and setting sales goals
• Generate and analyze daily and monthly financial & inventory reports against budget expectations
• Implement ordering processes that result in effective cash management
• Meet with vendors and make recommendations on products
• Communicate effectively with sales representatives and suppliers
• Will represent the venue at various regional and local trade shows, job fairs, community meetings, governmental meetings, etc.
• All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must have strong leadership skills
• Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast paced environment
• Must be able to work under pressure and be decisive
• Ability to motivate employees
• Must be available on weekends and nights as well as some weekdays
• Must have or be willing to obtain a CPR/AED certification

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time both indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions
• Will be required to operate a computer
• Facility has intermittent noise
