Location
Tyler, Texas. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an attorney who is ready to be an active part of our local legal team and make a direct impact on clients and cases.
Note:
To be considered, you must have a Juris Doctor and be licensed to practice law in Texas or be awaiting Texas Bar exam results. Prior family law experience is preferred.

Job Description
- Manage a full caseload of family law matters from initial client meetings through resolution.
- Represent clients in matters involving divorce, child custody, adoption, CPS investigations, child support, and related family law disputes.
- Meet with clients to assess legal issues, provide practical guidance, and develop effective case strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, case law, and other relevant legal authorities.
- Prepare for and appear at hearings, mediations, conferences, and trials.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for favorable resolutions whenever appropriate.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure deadlines and court requirements are met.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver excellent client service and continuously improve legal processes.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active Texas Bar license or currently awaiting Texas Bar exam results.
- Strong interest in family law and client advocacy.
- Family law experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong legal research, writing, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Professional judgment, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with clients facing sensitive legal issues.
