Family Law Paralegal - (Morris and Bergen County)

Our client, New Jersey's leading Family Law practice, is searching for Paralegals to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

Research law, investigate facts, prepare documents and facilitate client service to assist attorneys in their work.

Research/analyze law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes.

Prepare legal documents like letters, briefs, and pleadings.

File court document’s.

Prepare affidavits of documents and maintain document file.

Deliver/direct delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties to action.

Assist attorneys in maintaining a 90% (or better) collections rate per month and year.

YOU might be the RIGHT person if YOU have:

- 2-3 Years of NJ Family Law Paralegal Experience

- Microsoft Office Experience

- Must be able to patiently navigate clients through a difficult, highly emotional time

- Paralegal Certificate preferred
