Family Law Paralegal - Urgent

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal/Law Clerk to temporarily join a successful law firm in Roseville.

This is a temporary 4 month assignment with the possibility of long-term employment.

Compensation: $25-$40.hr

Job Requirements:

• File and organize legal documents and correspondence
• Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw
• Assist with document review and analysis
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits
• Maintain communication with clients, providing updates on case progress
• Schedule and coordinate client meetings and court appearances
• Conduct client interviews to gather relevant information for cases
• Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness statements
• Manage case files, ensuring all necessary documents are included and up-to-date
• Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times

Job Qualifications:

• Have high school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years experience as a Paralegal in family law
• Strong knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
