POSITION PURPOSE:
The Clinic Manager, in coordination with the Operations and Medical departments, is responsible for the planning, organizing and supervision of operational and clinical duties. This position manages personnel related to patient-centered care and satisfaction, supports clinic best practices and organizational policies, patient flows, efficiencies and provider productivity. The Clinic Manager is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of the clinic site and is responsible for the supervision, actions, and needs of clinic staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversees and manages all aspects of the day-to-day clinical operations and ensures that they are conducted in accordance with Aviva Health policies and procedures.
Works with Family Medicine Residency team to ensure operational coordination for Family Medicine Resident providers.
Monitors daily and monthly productivity and other key performance indicators; reports results to management and takes appropriate actions within the clinic to ensure clinic goals are met.
Responsible for inventory and supply management of clinical supplies.
Prepares and implements budgets for clinic site, including monitoring and controlling clinic expenditures within the Aviva Health Board-approved
Engages regularly with staff to assess satisfaction and help ensure concerns are addressed.
Engages routinely with patients to assess satisfaction and the quality of services provided.
Conducts regular staff and department meetings as needed.
Participates in quality improvement processes and implements, evaluates, and maintains QI activities for the clinic.
Collaborates with Providers and leadership to implement quality improvement and patient safety and satisfaction initiatives.
Ensures clinical care delivery aligns with FQHC standards, protocols, and guidelines.
Participates in staff education and reviews workflows to improve clinic efficiencies.
Develops and maintains clinic processes and procedures and oversees staff adherence.
Provides clinical training to staff.
Promotes a team-based, patient-centered care environment.
Serves as a mentor and clinical resource to staff.
Oversees and supervises clinic supervisors, coordinates staff schedules and clinic coverage, and resolves workflow challenges.
Promotes and supports integration of behavioral health, dental, and other support services into Family Medicine.
Periodic driving of company or personal vehicle for business needs.
Follows all Aviva Health policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting required.
Associate degree in business or healthcare administration, or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) preferred; knowledge of FQHC regulations, UDS reporting, PCPCH model, and value-based care desired.
Active RN or LPN license or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credentials preferred.
Proven ability to collaborate across departments including clinical, operational, medical, and finance teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting demands.
Ability to understand healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement practices.
Ability to align clinic operations with broader organizational goals and anticipate future needs or barriers; implements sustainable solutions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records systems; experience with Athena EMR preferred.
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience mentoring and supporting teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
