About the Community

Located just 30 miles north of Grand Rapids, Grant is a growing, rural community with a rich history located along the M-37 corridor in Newaygo County. Dubbed a “Farm to Table” district, Grant revels in its superb multigenerational farms, the beauty in its myriad fruit orchards, and farm-to-table restaurants. Grant is also considered an outdoorsman’s paradise with 234 lakes, 356 miles of rivers, and over 100,000 acres of national forest in Newaygo County. Grant is a short 30-minute drive to the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan.

What We Provide:

• 4 or 5-day work week


• No hospital rotations


• Minimal on-call schedule


• Generous administrative time (up to 8 hours weekly)
  


• Realistic productivity standards (2 patients per hour)


• Eligible for up to $75,000 in tax-free student loan repayment through NHSC for two years and $20,000 each additional year.


• Eligible for up to $300,000 in loan repayment through Michigan State Loan Repayment Program.

• Paired medical assistants


• RN case manager


• Behavioral health therapists on site


• Clinical pharmacist to assist with medication review, interactions, and education

Certificate/License Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited school of medicine


• State of Michigan medical license


• State of Michigan controlled substance license


• Federal DEA license
