About the Opportunity:

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a premier Level 1 Trauma Center in Reading, PA to find a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join their growing team. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose a wide range of medical conditions.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients, considering preventative care and long-term health goals.
• Provide acute care services for patients with urgent medical needs.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to facilitate accurate diagnoses.
• Manage chronic health conditions and educate patients on self-management strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in family medicine through continuing education.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board certification in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or eligible for certification.
• Minimum two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a family medicine practice or a similar environment.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Valid Pennsylvania medical license.
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
