OFFICE HOURS:
- Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm
- Saturday / Sunday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

*Please note that for partner physicians, the annual full-time compensation can be up to $500,000 and for part-time up to $350,000.

COMPANY PROFILE: 
This compassionate, family-centered private practice has been serving the greater Tacoma area for more than 35 years, providing full scope primary care to patients of all ages.  They currently boast a provider staff of 4 physicians, 2 physician assistants, and 5 nurse practitioners.  They have on-site services for laboratory, x-ray, EKG, and minor surgical procedures.  Their overall offerings include family medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, women’s healthcare, smoking cessation, DOT / CDL physicals, weight loss counseling, and more.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 
The new physician will see a variable number of patients per day, depending upon the types of appointments scheduled.  Employee physicians typically have 24 - 25 visits per day and partner physicians set their own volume.   

All physicians are supported by dedicated clinical assistants (MAs and/or LPNs).

All work is within the area of standard family medicine:

- annual check-ups
- follow-up visits
- chronic disease management
- minor sick/injury visits

The practice has on-site laboratory, x-ray, and EKG services, as well as facilities for minor surgical procedures.  Their offerings include, but are not limited to:

- pediatric care
- geriatric care
- women’s healthcare
- physicals
- chronic disease management
- weight loss counseling
- smoking cessation

The practice currently uses the eClinicalWorks EHR, but is planning to transition to Epic in the near future.

On-call duties are very minimal and consist solely of phone triage.  The practice is negotiable on the rotation, but providers typically do weeknight on-call 1 night per week, every other month.  

Physicians rarely staff the clinic on weekends (approximately 1 - 2 times per year); when weekend shifts are required, the equivalent weekdays are scheduled off to ensure work/life balance.

- Board Certification or Eligibility, Family Medicine
