Position Summary:

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides medical care including medical screening examinations and evaluations in the Emergency Department under the direction of the ER Medical Director.  Performs accurate initial history and physical exam.  Counsels/educates patients, promotes/delivers quality patient care in emergency department setting.

Option for 1099 or direct hire.

Shifts available are: 8am-6pm or 2pm to 12am.

Completion of Madera Community Hospital Medical Staff Credentialing Application Process for Allied Health Medical Staff Privileges prior to first day of work and every two years thereafter. The Granting of privileges includes approval from the Medical Staff and concurrent Board of Trustees approval per the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of each. 

Qualifications:

Requires Current State of California Family Nurse Practitioner License, Current State of California Family Nurse Practitioner Furnishing License, Current State of California Registered License, Current DEA License.

Current American Heart Association BCLS certificate, ACLS and PALS certificates.
