Our medical scribes will assist you in documenting patient interactions and streamlining your workflow, allowing you to focus more on diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, manage chronic diseases, and promoting preventive health measures, all while fostering meaningful relationships with your patients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing primary care to patients
Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
Ordering diagnostic tests
Communicating test results to patients and their families
Recording patient medical histories
Gather medical information
Work with Physicians and Nurses to prescribe and administer treatments
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment
Instruct patients and their families about best practices at home
Maintain accurate patient records
Refer patients to specialists as needed
Writing prescriptions
Providing wound care
Comply with federal and state privacy laws, always respecting a patient’s confidentiality
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication
Excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures
Good interpersonal skills
Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Computer literacy
Time management skills
Teamwork skills
Empathy and compassion
The ability to provide accurate, effective care in stressful situations
Education and Experience:
NP, PA, MD license in California required
Must have graduate from an accredited FNP/PA/MD program
Previous experience in family medicine or primary care is preferred
New graduates with excellent clinical instructor references
