About the Job

Seasons is a comprehensive behavioral health center offering a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health services to communities in the Northwest Iowa region. As a Community Mental Health Clinic, our goal is to increase access and improve the quality of behavioral health services.

We are currently seeking a full-time Family Peer Support to act as a mentor and guide to parents and caregivers of children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) through insight gained from their own personal experience. They’ll provide clients with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully cope with the challenges associated with having a child with SED.

Salary Range

$15.00-$18.00 per hour (Depending on years of experience, education, and license level)

Requirements

• Must have experience as primary caregiver for a child with emotional and behavioral health needs
• A High School Diploma or GED is required
• Must hold an active Peer Support Specialist certification or be eligible to obtain one
• Travel is a requirement of this position, so a valid driver’s license is required
