While the Family Preservation Services program is operated through Corry Counseling of LECOM Health, which is based in Corry, PA – this is a mobile position that serves all of Erie County, so qualified applicants from across the County are welcome to apply!

Corry Counseling of LECOM Health is now hiring a part-time worker, with the potential to work into a full-time role in the future, to ensure the safety of referred children/youth designated by the Office of Children and Youth while working with parents of Erie County. This is a rewarding community-based position delivering services in family homes and the community, which directly affects the lives and safety of children and their families.

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Social Services' field plus one year in a Child and Adolescent Social Service Program (CASSP). An understanding of the child welfare system is preferred. The worker provides in-home intervention, case management, and trauma informed family intervention that focuses on reunification or preservation of the family unit. Flexibility is needed to accommodate the family or individuals in the program. An ability to work independently and a strong work ethic is necessary.

Job Types: Part-Time (10-15 hours a week)

Pay: $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
