Family Services Specialist II - 01175

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Ability to complete intake assessment for Adult Protective Services report; Investigate Adult Protective Services referrals within policy requirements; Assess client's risk factors, physical and psychological capacity with the Uniform Assessment Instrument (UAI} to determine client's service and related financial needs; develop an appropriate service plan, referral, and community resources; gather, interpret and apply interview and related investigative information to accurately assess and direct client to services and resources.

Requires a bachelor's degree in a human services field (social work, counseling, gerontology, guidance and counseling, family and child development, psychology or sociology) and three (3) years of experience in a human services field; or possess a bachelor's degree in any field accompanied by a minimum of five (5) years of related experience in a human services area. Must have a current and valid driver’s license.

Experience requirements must include two (2) years in Adult Protective Services or working directly with the older and disabled adult population.
