Job Description - Family Support Services Program Coordinator (Supervising Psychologist)

ABOUT FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES AT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES BAY AREA

Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area (RMHC Bay Area) envisions a world where all children have access to health care and their families are fully supported and actively involved in their care. RMHC Bay Area supports more than 4,000 children and their families annually through three Ronald McDonald Houses, two Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles, a Ronald McDonald House School, as well as regional food insecurity programs, alternative housing support, psycho-social and respite programs and specialized programming delivered on site inside area pediatric hospitals.

Family Support Services (FSS) provides emotional support, education, and resources to the families and staff of the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Individuals, couples, and entire families are served in the privacy of the FSS offices, around the House, in the kitchen, playroom, on Zoom, or wherever a person feels most comfortable. FSS not only offers support to individual families, but also plans and manages House therapeutic activities such as Fun Clubs, holiday activities, and special events that provide a caring, supportive, and fun environment for all. FSS provides support and training for the staff at the Ronald McDonald House.
