Farm Store Manager

WE'RE HIRING! This is a full-time position. As the Farm Store Manager at our Plainview, MN, location, your responsibilities include overseeing daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service at our retail store. This includes assisting customers with feed orders and answering questions, managing staff, and keeping the store clean, safe, and welcoming.  

Requirements

· Supervise a team of employees, assign tasks, provide training, and create staff schedules based on business needs.

· Manage store operations, including product selection, inventory management, pricing, and layout. Coordinate customer orders with various manufacturing locations.

· Ensure that the store is well-stocked, clean, and welcoming.

· Work Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm) with scheduled Saturdays and some evenings when needed. 

· Organize tasks well, manage time effectively, and be able to adapt to changes and prioritize workload as necessary. You or your staff may need to assist in completing tasks for other departments.  

· Have proficient computer skills.

Skills and qualifications:

· Previous experience in retail management and with feed is preferred. 

· Experience in working with and engaging employees.  

· Lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

· Stand and walk for extended periods, regularly perform tasks that involve reaching, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and twisting.  

· Must be over age 18 and eligible to work in the United States.
