Job Description:

WHIM is a fast-growing chain of fun and fashionable  women's clothing and accessories stores in Westchester County, NY. and Fairfield County CT. We have  locations in Mount Kisco, Bronxville, NY, Stamford Ct, Ridgefield Ct and Darien Ct.

We are seeking Store Managers with 2-5 years of fashion retail management experience. The job comes with opportunities for raises, promotions, and bonuses. At the moment have a need for a manager in Mount Kisco but may be positions  elsewhere.

Candidates must:

- Be able to motivate and encourage a young eager staff

- Have a strong knowledge of clothing, accessories, jewelry, and shoes

- Be fashionable and take pride in their appearance

- Be artistic and creative, with a good eye for store design and merchandising- Be highly organized

- Able and willing to learn a new cash register/inventory management computer system

-Have a flexible schedule

Responsibilities Include:

- Running daily operations of the stores

- Making sure employees are doing their jobs

- Maintaining and updating a well-organized employee schedule every month

- Managing a staff of 2-4 employees at a time (10-20 overall)

- Managing and organizing a large, quickly moving stockroom

- Making sure the store stays clean and tidy

- Leading employees by example (Ex: helping with cleanup)

- Reviewing and approving employee time-cards

- Being a Key-holder, opening and closing the store

- Closing-out the cash register and making deposits
