Department: FCHC Outpatient Pharmacy
Status Hours: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly
Shift: 1st/2nd Shift (8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Saturday)
Includes: Rotate open and close

Job Summary:

Fulton County Health Center is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Outpatient Retail Pharmacy team. The Technician will assist the Pharmacist in prescription processing and maintain excellent customer service, proper inventory management, and housekeeping duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fulfill all duties as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Process and fill prescription orders for patients of the retail pharmacy.
• Assist the Pharmacist in processing prescriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service to all pharmacy patrons.
• Maintain an organized work environment and ensure proper inventory management.
• Participate in housekeeping duties to ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of the retail pharmacy.
• Follow opening/closing rotation schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Must be certified by a Board-approved competency exam or actively working toward certification as per Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Retail pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.
