• 2 years minimum work experience as an instructor for Federal Protective Officer

• The candidate must have successfully completed and received instructor certification from a federal, military, state, private security academy, or local law enforcement academy.

(LEITP) Certification

Requirements

Completion and certification from the Law Enforcement Instructor Training Program (LEITP) at any one of the US Department of Homeland Security Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers is desired.
