Compensation: $58.00–$62.93 per hour

Position Overview

Dentistry Locum Staffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a modern, patient-focused dental clinic in Oak Harbor, Washington. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive oral assessments and periodontal evaluations
• Remove deposits and stains through scaling and polishing
• Apply fluoride, sealants, desensitizing agents, and other preventive treatments
• Examine the oral cavity and identify conditions requiring referral to the dentist
• Take dental impressions and fabricate sports mouth guards and bleaching trays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention
• Obtain and document patient medical and dental histories
• Take and process dental radiographs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Provide chairside assistance when needed
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Utilize electronic dental records for patient scheduling and documentation

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (as applicable)
• Graduate of a CODA-accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Successful completion of the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE)
• Current, active, unrestricted Dental Hygienist license
• Current radiography certification
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Certification
• Minimum of two (2) years of Dental Hygienist experience
• Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills
