Job Description - Federal Technical Account Manager (Hybrid)

Your Impact
As a Technical Account Manager specializing in agency-specific accounts, you'll be at the forefront of post-sale activities, focusing on deployment. You’ll support one of Axon’s largest Federal Customers, providing hands-on assistance at field offices and serving as the go-to expert for the agency. This role involves significant travel, as well as onsite at agency, allowing you to establish yourself as the subject matter expert. You will be credentialed by the Federal agency, granting you access to buildings and systems for comprehensive support beyond deployment and training. This position is crucial for forging a robust partnership between Axon and the agency, leveraging your deep product knowledge, and acting as a dedicated advocate for the agency.
What We Need:
Acceptance of Delivery of BWC Hardware:
Assist in the receipt of BWC hardware at the Office of Investigative Technology (ST) including unpacking pallets and inventorying BWC hardware to ensure accurate quantity received.
Store BWC hardware at ST site in support of future deployment to Field Divisions.
BWC Hardware Inventory:
Support acceptance of and entry into agency’s global inventory management system.
Assist with BWC inventory tracking.
Initial Setup of BWC Hardware:
Support the maintenance of BWC hardware; firmware updates, battery maintenance, system sync, among other setup requirements.
BWC Support and Coordination
Establish and maintain contact with current and future deployment sites.
Coordinate support and troubleshooting for the deployed BWC locations.
Provide support for BWC technical program management.
BWC Hardware Deployment:
Coordinating the shipping and allocation of BWC hardware.
Verification of proper BWC hardware assignments.
Verify delivery and accountability of BWC kit accessories.
Deployment Site Support:
Travel to various and/or contiguous BWC domestic deployment sites.
Provide onsite support during deployments.
Connecting the Agency to “Early Access” programs for new products
What You Bring:
BS/BA or equivalent knowledge and experience
Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Service (CJIS) background check and maintain CJIS clearance. Handle confidential and highly sensitive information
Live or be willing to relocate to the Washington, DC or Northern Virginia area
Report to the office as needed to perform your duties, some telework is accepted.
A minimum of five (5) years as a federal law enforcement officer or five (5) years of law enforcement experience within a federal law enforcement agency as a TFO, preferred, other Law Enforcement Experience will be evaluated
Familiarity with
the use
of Axon BWC hardware

Strong technological background preferred but not

Experience in supporting projects.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Experience implementing and/or leading new programs of record
Experience with project management
and resource tracking
Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in one or more of the following areas of specialization:
Digital Video
, Body Worn Cameras
Willing to travel weekly throughout North America and possible international travel
Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member and assume leadership role within the team
Ability to work remotely effectively and add value as a team member. Demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative skills
Ability to teach other members of the team and act as a mentor as required
Must be able to coordinate across various groups and functional teams
Ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision
Demonstrate ability to implement, drive, track and report projects

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 80,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 110,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 90,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 130,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
