We are hiring reliable and technically inclined candidates for a Full-Time Fiber Optic Field Assistant role. This position supports field-based fiber optic network installations and maintenance while offering structured training, certification, and long-term career growth in the telecommunications industry.

Training Program & Timeline

• Opportunities throughout the state of Texas
• Paid, structured training provided
• Seven (7) weeks of virtual instruction, followed by one (1) week of in-person practical training
• Certification issued after successful completion of the training program
• Training begins at the end of April 2026
• Interviews will be conducted remotely

Role Overview

• Support fiber optic technicians with cable installation, testing, and maintenance
• Assist with job site preparation, equipment setup, and cleanup
• Follow fiber optic safety procedures, technical standards, and company guidelines
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting under supervision
• Communicate progress, issues, and documentation to supervisors and team members

• 18 years of age or older
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet for virtual training
• Valid United States driver’s license
• Authorization to work legally in the United States
• Willingness to complete a background screening
• Willingness to complete a drug test
• Availability to attend and complete all required training sessions
• Ability to work outdoors and in variable field conditions
