Fiberglass Finisher

Job Summary

Sea Fox Boat Company, a leading manufacturer of premium saltwater fishing boats, is seeking a skilled Finisher to join our team. In this role, you’ll help prepare boats for final delivery, ensuring each one meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates with prior patching experience!

What You’ll Do

• Repair, patch, and sand fiberglass or gel coat surfaces to eliminate imperfections

• Use power tools, hand tools, buffers, and sandpaper to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish

• Inspect work carefully to ensure it meets company quality standards

• Safely handle materials, machinery, and chemicals in accordance with guidelines

• Review and follow MSDS information as needed

• Identify maintenance or safety concerns and take appropriate action

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Support team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture

• Follow all company safety, security, and operational procedures

What You Bring

• Previous patching and sanding experience in boat manufacturing or automotive finishing (required)

• Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday

• Willingness to pass a drug screening and background check

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Dependability, honesty, and a positive attitude

• Ability to lift, bend, and remain on your feet throughout the workday

• Comfort working in a warehouse environment, including exposure to heat and cold

• Experience using power and hand tools

Work Environment

• Covered warehouse setting with varying temperatures

• Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, and repetitive motion
