Our technology starts with you.\n\nRole Overview\n\n\u2022 This outstanding opportunity allows technically-minded engineers to broaden their system engineering skills and application knowledge, while gaining sales and marketing experience.\n\n\u2022 Our vibrant and dynamic team-oriented work environment offers exposure to a variety of state-of-the art applications technology each day.\n\n\u2022 As a member of our team you will play a key role in securing ST customer commitments and win business by working remotely and on-site with customers in support of their engineering teams, who are developing a variety of applications.\n\n\u2022 The primary area of focus will be image sensors and Time-of-Flight applications across a range of industries, type of applications.\n\n\u2022 In addition to work experience, and technical experience in Imaging, the individual must have an excellent theoretical background that includes: basic of optics, knowledge of microcontroller (with some micro\u0027s programming experience) is preferred.\n\nPreferred Qualifications \n\n\u2022 Experience in Camera module development. \n\n\u2022 Experience in Optical system performance evaluation (MTF, lens shading, distortion). \n\n\u2022 Experience in Imaging devices. \n\n\u2022 Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align proper product offering to end customer opportunities. \n\n\u2022 Automotive knowledge is a plus. \n\n\u2022 Experience in project management is a plus. \n\n\u2022 Use competitive knowledge to tailor feedback to marketing/R\u0026D for new product development. \n\n\u2022 Participate in ST technical conferences and customer training sessions (seminars/workshops). \n\n\u2022 Hardware troubleshooting skills are needed using an oscilloscope, logic analyzers, and signal generators. \n\n\u2022 Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.\n\nEducational Qualifications\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Level Degree (Master\u0027s Level Degree preferred) plus a minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience.\n\nThis role can be based in either Livonia, MI, or Santa Clara, CA, with Livonia as the primary location.\n\nAt STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. \n\nNon- Bay Area - \n\nThe base annual salary range for this role is between $ 117,900 to $147,400 USD\n\nBay Area - \n\nThe base annual salary range for this role is between$ 132,100 to $165,100 USD\n\n \n\nST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
