Field Controls Technician Description
Our client, a well-established building controls and energy management company, is looking to expand their Service Team by adding a new Technician. Majority of your travel to customer sites will be regionalized around your location, making extensive travel very rare. Aside from being home practically every night, you will benefit from a more inclusive, culture-first company. With little turnover and an extremely stable clientele, this role offers strong job security and excellent benefits including profit-sharing and a great 401k plan. Whether your experience comes from commercial HVAC or you have more extensive experience with controls systems, we are seeking candidates with a strong technical aptitude who have some experience troubleshooting electrical systems/components. For any gaps in experience, they offer a comprehensive training program that allows you to get up to speed on all their equipment and service offerings. This is an excellent opportunity to join a people-focused organization that prioritizes work/life balance and continuous team development.
Important Note: Their customers are fairly concentrated in the Jacksonville area with customers also in Tallahassee. The most extensive travel you’d have is to Savannah and Thomasville, GA or to the Orlando area.
