Schedule: Full-Time; Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Tech 1 with strong expertise in electrical and plumbing systems. This full-time role is responsible for performing general building maintenance and troubleshooting across multiple commercial properties in the North Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and customer-focused, with a strong ability to work independently while maintaining the high standards Lot Management is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems (lighting, outlets, breakers, panels, etc.) Diagnose and repair commercial plumbing issues (fixtures, water heaters, drainage, piping, etc.)
• Complete work orders for general repairs, including drywall, painting, doors/hardware, minor HVAC, and more
• Collaborate with property managers and Lot Management teams to address service needs promptly
• Maintain accurate records of work performed using company systems or work order platforms
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company protocols
• Respond to occasional emergency maintenance requests during off-hours (rotating on-call schedule)

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on commercial maintenance experience
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and commercial-grade plumbing
• Familiarity with commercial buildings, retail centers, and warehouse facilities
• Comfortable using hand and power tools, ladders, and basic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be self-directed and able to work independently across multiple sites
• Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Physical Demands and Requirements:
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, and physical. Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Stand for long periods of time. Bend or twist the body. Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl. Physically able to work on HVAC units. Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on the time of year. Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, walking, or climbing ladders.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
