Job Description - Field Manager

Description

Salary Range: $23-$25 per hour, based on experience

Your Mission: As a Field Manager, you will be the driving force behind installation quality, on-site safety, and team development. Your leadership will directly support our field teams, align client expectations, and help maintain our reputation as a top-tier service provider. This hands-on role blends mentorship, oversight, and operational coordination — making every day an opportunity to elevate our people and our projects.

 Deliver Excellence:

  • Customer Satisfaction & Quality Assurance:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for installation quality and jobsite issues.
  •  Conduct regular job site visits to uphold Emerald Blue’s high-quality standards.
  • Oversee multiple job sites to ensure consistent progress and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform site audits weekly, focusing on training, quality, and safety

Training & Team Development:

  • Lead hands-on training sessions for new and existing team members.
  • Support field staff onboarding, growth plans, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide daily leadership to ensure crews are equipped with the right tools, information, and support.

Safety & Risk Management:

  • Perform routine safety checks to ensure compliance with all Emerald Blue protocols.
  • Represent Safety and Risk departments in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
  • Maintain current certifications including OSHA, DOT Health Card, and Driver Trainer; may be asked to complete Forklift and Order Picker Trainer certifications as needed.

Project Support:

  • Review pre-install documentation including punch lists, change orders, and site readiness paperwork.
  • Assist project managers with field verifications, delivery coordination, and systems like Hedberg and WebTrax.
  • Attend weekly schedule and pre-installation meetings to stay aligned with project goals.
  • Provide warehouse support and maintain an active understanding of inventory processes.
  • Oversee field inventory with regular restocking and quarterly audits.
  • Lead and work alongside installers based on business need.

Flexibility & Travel:

  • Be available for overtime and overnight travel as needed to ensure successful project completion 

Requirements

What We're Looking For: 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask  
  • Demonstrated leadership and training capabilities  
  • Working knowledge of lean practices   
  • Ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)  

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in installation, field supervision, or project coordination strongly preferred  
  • High School diploma preferred  
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain relevant certifications (OSHA, DOT, etc.) 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain on your feet for the entire shift.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 200 lbs.
