Job Description - Field Manager



Full-time


Description

  • Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant Drive Away (Driver Outsource) field operations under direction of District Manager.
  • Travel up to 75% to coordinate equipment readiness, lead driver activities, and move customer equipment.
  • Develop and execute load plans in alignment with customer requirements.
  • Train drivers on equipment use, HOS compliance, load securement, and customer standards.
  • Conduct commentary driving evaluations and promote accident prevention.
  • Partner with Terminal Managers to improve operations and communication.
  • Submit billable activities whenever possible.

Requirements

     

  • Current Class A CDL with HazMat, Tanker endorsements, and TWIC card.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Effective multitasking and communication with drivers and managers.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with federal and customer standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Truck mechanic background preferred.
