Job Summary:
The Field Marketing Supervisor (FMS) is responsible for building and strengthening DreamFields' relationships with dispensary accounts, supporting the local sales team in meeting or exceeding sales goals, and collaborating with the marketing and promotions teams to plan and execute events. Beyond event and account supervision, this role owns the regional execution of in-store visual merchandising, print collateral, and marketing inventory, ensuring every account reflects an on-brand, visually compelling presence. The FMS requires someone with a strong passion for cannabis, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to lead and manage a regional team of Brand Ambassadors (BAs), while also supervising external vendors, tracking marketing materials, and providing hands-on event support.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Act as the supervisor to the Brand Ambassador teams within the assigned region.
- Help recruit, hire, onboard, and provide in-field training to new team members.
- Communicate campaign initiatives and directives from marketing and sales to the regional Brand Ambassador team.
- Review and approve employee timecards daily to ensure accurate reporting of work hours, ensure compliance with company policies, and address any discrepancies or errors promptly.
- Provide guidance and support on timecard-related issues, working closely with HR and payroll teams as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain positive relationships with dispensary accounts in the region to schedule events, including HUDs, Pop ups, and special promotional events.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and special events departments to coordinate event details, including staffing and scheduling.
- Lead regional visual merchandising efforts, strategically presenting products to highlight features, benefits, and seasonal promotions for visually compelling in-store displays.
- Manage the creation and distribution of print marketing materials, ensuring signage and graphics are delivered to stores accurately and on time.
- Manage and track bulk visual merchandising and dummy packaging requests, ensuring all materials are current, on-brand, and available when needed.
- Manage and track marketing materials and collaborate with inventory teams to keep promotional products and collateral adequately stocked, distributed, and reordered for the region's storage unit.
- Create and update data tracking spreadsheets based on changing variables and provide weekly reporting on campaign effectiveness and results to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Supervise logistics from in-store HUDs to store visits while continuing to foster strong client relationships, providing coverage for BAs at planned and one-off events when necessary.
- Manage external vendors for coordination, document creation, and delivery of marketing collateral.
- Support the marketing department with budget management by processing and tracking invoices, reconciling costs, and providing monthly accrual reports.
- Gauge store traffic, gather market feedback, and audit brand materials regularly to inform strategy and ensure all collateral is current and on brand.
- Execute all marketing requests from management and provide timely updates.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Driver's License.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage, and track multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, clients, and external vendors.
- Technical proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel for data tracking and reporting), and Google Suite.
- Ability to independently solve problems and take initiative on issues related to marketing operations and promotional activities.
- Team player and independent contributor able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as required by the role.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or related fields, with proven success in planning and executing promotional events and campaigns.

- 1+ years of experience in the cannabis industry, or strong knowledge of cannabis brands and products, is highly preferred.
- 1+ years of customer service or other people-oriented experience is strongly desired.
- Experience supervising or working at cannabis events is preferred.
- A cannabis network or social media following in the industry is considered a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to set up, support, and tear down marketing events, which may include transporting materials, assembling displays, and standing for extended periods.
- Some travel may be required to attend cross-functional team meetings or support product launch events.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently.
Work Schedule (Exempt):
This is a full-time, exempt position. This role requires flexibility to work the hours necessary to meet business needs, which may include extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Work schedules and expectations may be adjusted based on operational priorities and organizational demands.
