Job Title: Field Merchandise Coordinator
Location: Atlanta, GA
Reports To: Senior Director of Partner Merchandising located in Dallas, TX
Job Overview: The Field Merchandise Coordinator acts as liason between our Kurt Geiger London US based wholesale team and our department store partners. They are a proactive self-starter with a passion for visual merchandising and connecting with department store retail teams, increasing brand awareness and driving sales within their territory. A self motivated & entrepreneurial attitude for a global brand is key to this role.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Travel throughout territory to educate store associates on our brands and gain an understanding of our customer, helping identify opportunities to increase business and brand awareness.
Interact with customers and store associates generating excitement and sharing product knowledge about our brands/products. This includes seasonal product knowledge seminars with key stores throughout territory.
Ensure all brands/product categories are represented, priced correctly, and merchandised properly.
Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, Director of Partner Merchandising, Business Managers, and store associates
Seasonally plan territory focuses and travel and work alongside Director of Partner Merchandising
Provide support in seasonal buy meetings and market showroom set-up when requested
Strong communication skills needed for daily reporting and working closely with store partners and Director of Partner Merchandising
Qualifications:
Self motivated & ambitious attitude
Knowledge of US Wholesale customer and US Department Store business
Ability to analyze sales trends and draw conclusions
Comfortable working in department stores with customers and associates as well as standing on your feet for long periods of time
Ability to do stockroom work
Travel required up to 70% of time throughout given territory
Proficient in Microsoft Applications; Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Must have a valid Driver’s License
