Crosby’s Convenience Stores is looking for a driven and organized Field Merchandiser to join our dynamic Merchandising team. This field-based position is crucial in ensuring our stores deliver a consistent, high-quality shopping experience. You'll support new store setups, execute merchandising standards, train team leaders, and monitor competitive activity across our store footprint.

Key Responsibilities:


Customer & Internal Support

  • Serve as a key resource for internal departments and store teams
  • Assist with point-of-sale (POS) system-related tasks

Store Execution & Support

  • Lead new store setups, resets, and remodel projects
  • Conduct in-store visits to provide hands-on training and reinforce merchandising expectations

Auditing & Compliance

  • Perform annual audits to ensure merchandising consistency and compliance
  • Monitor vendor execution and provide feedback as needed

Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct weekly competitive visits to assess local pricing and merchandising trends

Planning & Reporting

  • Track supply usage, costs, and purchasing
  • Submit detailed weekly travel itineraries and summaries to supervisor

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of related experience in retail, merchandising, or store operations
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid New York State Driver’s License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Comfortable traveling frequently to retail store locations
  • Organized, proactive, and a strong communicator
