Job Description - Field Operations Consultant

Position Summary


At JAN-PRO in Oklahoma City, we are seeking a highly motivated Field Operations Consultant to work closely with franchise owners, helping them grow their businesses, improve operational performance, and increase profitability. In this role, you will support an established network of franchise owners by providing operational guidance, conducting customer inspections, delivering training and certification support, and helping resolve customer concerns. Your mission will be to provide tailored solutions that strengthen customer satisfaction, support account retention, and drive long-term success for franchise owners and their customers.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Engage with assigned franchisees to understand their unique challenges and goals.

  • Ensure franchisees are adhering to company standards and policies, providing guidance and coaching when necessary.

  • Conduct customer inspections and operational assessments to identify service deficiencies, ensure quality standards are maintained, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

  • Conduct regular site visits to franchise locations to assess operations and provide feedback.

  • Partner with franchise owners to resolve customer concerns, troubleshoot operational challenges, and support account retention efforts.

  • Assist with onboarding and startup activities for new customer accounts, ensuring service expectations, cleaning specifications, and operational requirements are properly implemented.

  • Deliver both classroom and field-based training to new and existing franchise owners, including hands-on operational coaching and certification support.

  • Administer training modules to JAN-PRO Certified Business Owners.

  • Identify opportunities for franchise owners to increase revenue through specialty services, expanded customer scope, and additional service offerings.

  • Provide customized solutions and guidance to help entrepreneurs achieve sustainable growth and profitability.

  • Maintain detailed records of franchisee coaching sessions, customer visits, inspections, corrective action plans, and operational recommendations.

  • Utilize your communication skills to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.

  • Actively listen to client needs and concerns, building trust and rapport.

  • Embrace technology and leverage productivity tools to enhance your effectiveness.

  • Work collaboratively with team members to support franchise owner success and operational excellence.

  • Adapt to changing client needs, business priorities, and market dynamics.


 


Qualifications



  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

  • Experience supporting or managing commercial cleaning operations, with working knowledge of services such as floor care, carpet cleaning, or other specialty services.

  • Experience conducting quality inspections, resolving customer concerns, and supporting account retention initiatives preferred.

  • Experience training, coaching, or certifying employees, franchise owners, or field personnel in operational best practices preferred.

  • Experience estimating, coordinating, or supporting specialty cleaning services is preferred.

  • Proven experience in business consulting, customer service, or a related role preferred.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to apply concepts to different industries and situations.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM software is preferred.

  • Comfortable with technology and a willingness to stay current on productivity tools.

  • Ability to occasionally support evening or weekend training sessions, customer visits, or operational needs as business demands require.


 


Work Environment



  • This position requires regular local travel to customer locations and franchise owner worksites.

  • Candidates should be comfortable working in office, customer, and commercial cleaning environments.

  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support training, customer onboarding, customer inspections, or operational needs.

  • Ability to lift and transport cleaning equipment, supplies, and materials (up to 50lbs) as needed.

  • Exposure to commercial cleaning environments, cleaning chemicals, equipment, and varying working conditions may be required.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform site inspections for extended periods of time.
