Field Premium Auditor - Pennsylvania (Greater Philadelphia Area)

Acuity is seeking a Field Premium Auditor - Pennsylvania to review and complete field premium audits and accurately summarize exposures for workers' compensation, general liability, and commercial auto policies. In this role you will answer premium audit related questions from underwriters, agents, and customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Schedule and complete in-person, virtual, and telephone premium audit appointments with the insured to discuss operations, determine the proper classification(s), and develop the correct exposure.


• Manage workload by utilizing the audit types available to plan workdays in an efficient, productive manner while keeping current with assignments.


• Review and resolve premium audit disputes. Complete and approve audit revisions within authority limits.


• Timely updates for all itineraries and progress reports and weekly submission of expense reports per department and company guidelines.


• Continue to develop auditing skills by participating in premium audit meetings, educational webinars, and other training opportunities.


• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record to operate a corporate vehicle.


• Regular and predictable attendance.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or direct experience in premium audit

EXPERIENCE:

Three years field premium audit or equivalent experience conducting premium audits

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledgeable in the areas of workers’ compensation and general liability manual rules.


• Time management and organizational skills; including the ability to meet and maintain department quality, time service, and productivity standards.


• Must provide world class customer service with excellent communication through verbal telephone and written email correspondence.


• Conflict resolution skills.


• Problem solving and analytical skills.


• Demonstrate the ability to work well in a team.


• Exhibit a positive attitude towards internal and external customers and assigned tasks while striving to reach departmental and company goals.


• Exhibit proficiency using PC programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as other general PC knowledge.


• Fluent Spanish speaking abilities helpful.

This job is classified as exempt.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
