Field Property Technician - Construction & Maintenance

Primary Purpose

Perform renovations and repairs for existing VIP

properties and finish construction/carpentry work for new VIP properties.

Responsibilities

·      General maintenance and repair duties for all VIP properties.

·      Performs basic carpentry, painting, masonry, light electrical, flooring, tire racking set up, and other tasks as needed.

·      Works in a safe manner, follows all safety policies while performing job duties, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment PPE.

·      Keeps work area clean and organized.

·      Preparation and assembly of various building components and materials used in the renovation, repair, or new construction of a VIP property.

·      Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed.

·      Communicates with team members to assist in the completion of tasks.

·      Travel as needed for projects, including overnights.

·      New location set up and repair.

Skills & Abilities Required

·     Ability to safely perform light carpentry and construction tasks.

·     Ability to learn new skills as required to complete renovation jobs.

·     Ability to stay busy, be highly productive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

·     Ability to work independently and follow directions.

·     Knowledge of tools needed to perform jobs, and ability to use them safely and effectively.

·     Finish tasks in a timely manner.

·     Communicate effectively and positively with team members, store staff, supervisors, and management.

·     Take direction from Job Supervisor.

·     Behave professionally and be reliable.

·     Good workmanship and attention to detail.

·     Become an excellent team player.

Qualifications & Requirements

·       Experience preferred.

·       Extended hours and overnights based on business needs.

·       Travel from the Auburn Support Center, or your home base, will be provided or reimbursed.

·       Valid driver’s license and ability to pass both a criminal background and a substance abuse screening.
