TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for a Field Recruiter working out of our Midwest territory (IA, KS, MN, MO, NE, WI).

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The primary function of a Field Recruiter is to develop and maintain recruiting sources within a designated geographic territory and deliver quality applications for over the road driving positions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Location: Midwest 80% travel required within designated territory
• Develop and maintain a network of contacts with commercial driving schools to identify and source quality applicants
• Conduct presentations face to face and virtually to connect with perspective hires and capture leads for open positions
• Maintain working knowledge of open job requisitions to include duties, qualifications, and skills needed for hire in assigned territory
• Proactively work to source new channels to attract candidates for hire
• Keep accurate records throughout the recruitment cycle to include weekly schedule, leads, and application follow up
• Contact and engage with potential candidates throughout the recruitment cycle
• Collaborate with Recruiting team members to facilitate the application process
• undefined  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience in recruiting or sales required.Associates Degree or Bachelors, preferably in Transportation or Human Resources; or equivalent work experience requiredKnowledge of the transportation industry preferredAbility to speak and be influential to potential candidatesMust possess excellent written and oral communicationMust possess strong presentation skillsMust possess a working knowledge of computer applications; Microsoft OfficeMust be able to travel as an essential function of the jobMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust be able to work autonomously   y
