Job Title: Field Safety Coordinator
Location: Apple Grove, WV
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 5+ Months
Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation


đź’˛ Rate:
• Local: $44 - $48 / HR
• Traveler: $40 - $44 / HR
🍽 Per Diem: $125 / Day (Travelers Only)
đź’¸ Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule


đź•’ Hours: 50 Hours / Week
đź“… Schedule: Monday - Friday
🌞 Shift: 5 × 10's

Project Scope


The Field Safety Coordinator will support an iron contractor engaged in the construction of an industrial manufacturing facility in Apple Grove, WV. The scope of work includes steel fabrication and installation activities within an active industrial construction environment.

This position is field-focused and will work directly with craft personnel, supervisors, and client representatives to promote safe work practices. The coordinator will assist with daily safety execution, verification of tasks, and documentation to ensure compliance with project and client safety requirements.

Qualifications


âś… 1-3 years of industrial construction safety experience
âś… OSHA 30 and/or OSHA 510 certification

Additional Requirements


âś… Tech savvy with the ability to use digital reporting tools
âś… Client-facing communication skills
âś… Ability to assist with paperwork and data entry in Procore
âś… Willingness to perform site visits as requested

Key Responsibilities


  • Support daily toolbox talks (TBTs)

  • Assist with Safe Task Analysis (STA)

  • Conduct site safety inspections

  • Perform field safety coaching and verification

  • Support basic PPE management and fall protection

  • Assist with safety documentation and reporting

  • Interface with client safety teams and site leadership
