Job Description


In this role, you will represent an up-and-coming technology and telecommunications company while helping them grow and maintain a high level of respect in the local community.  The Field Sales Manager is a producing Manager position (you will be responsible for reaching your own sales goal each month) in addition to managing a team of 2+ Field Representatives who conduct door-to-door sales calls with residential customers and work to close deals on fiber optic internet plans.  Responsibilities include:



  • Training, performance metrics monitoring, planning, analyzing, and general administrative duties to ensure that our Field Representatives are working efficiently and effectively.

  • Leadership ability, analytical aptitude, communication skills, ability to plan and organize, and proven ability to build and lead a team are essential.

  • Assuming daily responsibility for field operations within a defined geographical/market area.

  • This role is 90+% time in the field (local to the Greater Colorado Springs area)


In order to provide maximum support to your team, the expected working schedule for this role is Tuesday - Saturday.  


This position has a starting base salary of $62,000 plus the potential for uncapped monthly commissions.  


Physical Requirements:



  • Access to reliable transportation based on territory requirements.  Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.  Able to obtain and maintain automobile insurance at or above Company requirements 

  • Working door to door in a residential area to conduct in-person sales meetings.  

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds at a time


Required Skills/Abilities:



  • 5+ years of related experience preferred

  • Previous team lead or manager experience preferred

  • 2+ years of D2D field sales experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

  • Proficient in using Company issued devices (iPhones, iPads) and CRM systems to manage and document daily activities

  • Able to effectively present and educate residential customers on our client’s brand value
