Field Service Engineer

Introduction:
Our client, a leading player in the automation sector, is seeking to appoint an experienced and skilled Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support on DCS DeltaV or Yokogawa systems integration within the oil and gas industry.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

- A minimum of Associate's degree in Engineering or Instrumentation & Controls related.
- At least 5 years' experience working as a field service engineer with LVI (low voltage instrumentation) technologies.

Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in the following areas:

1. Industrial Automation: Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining industrial control systems, including PLCs (programmable logic controllers), HMIs (human-machine interfaces), SCADA/DCS software applications, and more.
2. Systems Integration: Proven ability to integrate multiple hardware/software subsystems into one functional system that meets performance requirements, i.e., integrating DCS DeltaV or Yokogawa technology solutions.
3. Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50% - 75%, both domestically and internationally.

Additional Details about Job Role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

- Providing onsite technical assistance during installation, commissioning/upgrades/maintenance activities/services, primarily associated with process control equipment/systems. You'll use your knowledge of processes involved; this includes but is not limited to troubleshooting issues related to valves loops, pumps motors, controllers, instruments, HMI's, PLC's, electrical diagrams, schematic drawings, network topology configurations, etc.
- Conducting training sessions when necessary, either remotely/virtually/on-site at customer locations.
