Southeast Texas HR is seeking an experienced Field Service Pump Mechanic to join our team for a client in the industrial services sector. In this role, you will disassemble, inspect, and repair a variety of pumps, as well as install, remove, and align pumps and motors in the field. Experience with laser alignment tools and precision measuring instruments are required.

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position with a stable and well-established company. Pay will range from $30.00–$35.00 per hour DOE, with some overtime and weekend work required based on project needs.

Responsibilities

●      Install, remove, and align pumps and motors using laser alignment systems

●      Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble pumps (including multi-stage, single-stage, overhung, and vertical pumps)

●      Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend solutions

●      Perform shaft alignments and balance impellers as needed

●      Use micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and dial indicators to verify tolerances

●      Maintain accurate service reports and documentation, including photos and dimensional data

●      Follow all company safety procedures and customer requirements

●      Be available for overtime or call-ins as needed to support field service work

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must meet the following:

●      High school diploma or GED.

●      Minimum 5 years of experience in pump repair or field service.

●      Hands-on experience with laser alignment tools and precision measuring equipment.

●      Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work scopes.

●      Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

●      Must be able to lift 60 pounds and work in various field environments.

●      Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

• Ability to travel as needed ( up to 15% depending on customer's needs).
  

●      Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical.
