Following our recent success in New York and San Francisco are now looking for a Field Service Team Leader to join our growing team in the San Francisco Bay area!
This is a dual role to carry out plant maintenance work but also to line manage the field Service Regional Technician Team efficiently. Work with the Operations Manager to ensure that the Technician Team offer exceptional customer experience through well planned client visits, rapid response times and strong client communication.
Line manages the Field Service Technician Team. Holding to account on expectations and KPI’s
Ensure high level of Customer Service hitting agreed NPS and KPI targets
Carry out your own maintenance work approx. 60% of the time. 3 days per week.
Supervise, identify and suggest improvements to plant maintenance processes to improve display quality and efficiency
Plan technician maintenance routes via our internal scheduling software to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Schedule and allocate new work to technicians via internal scheduling software.
Work with technicians to provide rapid responses to customer challenges and complaints.
Maintain and manage wholesale plant supply chain for replacements.
Assist Ops Manager with hiring and training of team members.
Assist with site audits as and when required.
Typical work week:
Monday: Planning and scheduling work for team, booking in visits
Tuesday-Thursday: Maintenance rounds
Friday: Quality visits, shadowing Techs, 1-2-1’s.
Excellent people management skills – lead by example
Excellent communication skills
Excellent computer skills
Strong organizational & planning abilities
Strong data analysis skills and converting into positive action
Pro-active “can-do” attitude
Commercially minded and capable of finding resolutions for daily challenges
Good Horticultural Knowledge (desirable but training will be provided)
Capable of monitoring and improving performance of the team and providing input and proactive solutions to day-to-day challenges
Able to work under pressure and within required time scales
P&L knowledge is desirable but not essential
Role is based at client sites so you will need to have access to good public transport links
Uniforms will be provided
Driving license is required – vehicle to be provided if necessary
Early starts as required
