Summary

As a Field Service Technician you will perform utility pole inspections to measure pole contacts, collect data, make observations, take photographs, use O-Calc a system for the design of Aerial utility systems. Primary responsibilities include photographing utility poles, transferring data into a stored database and loading photos into O-Calc. In addition, you could be introduced to the design workflow.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a temporary role that is expected to work 40-hour weeks.

Requirements

Education Required

Education in background in drafting, STEM and/or other technical subjects. Engineering or science preferred background.

Experience Required

• This role typically requires prior working experience preferably in an engineering or technical occupation.
• Ability to work independently and perform specific tasks without direct supervision. Most work is performed on job sites at field locations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft office, Google Earth, and Adobe Acrobat preferred.
• Prior experience working with utility pole loading programs (O-Calc) preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license

The expected hourly pay range for this position is between $18 and $23. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
