The Conrad Company, a family-owned business located in York, PA is looking for an experienced field service technician to serve customers with their electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs and installations.

Responsibilities:

· Assemble hydraulic hoses and fittings.

· Repair and install grease and fire suppression systems (mobile & industrial).

· Repair and install industrial hydraulic systems.

· Willingness to work in the shop, or at sister company locations if needed.

· Listen and understand customer's needs to interpret solutions for their breakdowns.

· Diagnose errors and technical problems and determine positive solutions.

· Provide excellent customer service.

· Promote products and services to customers and potential customers.

· Produce timely and detailed service reports.

· Some work out of town, weekends, and some overnight stays may be needed to complete a job.

· Normal hours are 7-4 but may change daily depending on the job. This position could require weekends, holidays, overtime and on call.

Requirements

· Put safety first

· Ability to be flexible and a willingness to learn

· Basic understanding of how to use hand and electric powered tools

· Ability to read and use a tape measure

· Comfortable working at heights

· Experience with industrial machinery and repair

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Clean driving record

· DOT physical (able to pass)

· MSHA

· Personal hand/power tools
