Field Service Technician

Job Summary

The Repair Technician diagnose, adjusts, repairs, installs, and troubleshoots all product issues and their root causes on current and vintage products.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Service and adjust all products sold by Gunton Corporation and National Accounts.
• Respond to urgent jobs based on priority status.
• Install products and accessories as required to complete service on first attempt. Employ all necessary measures to overcome challenges that hinder job completion, including all heights.
• Discuss and review Customer Satisfaction Survey with each customer.
• Maintain adequate parts and tool inventory on a well-organized, maintained, and professional vehicle.
• Effectively communicate all service activities to the customer, including time of visit.
• Maintain accurate, neat, and organized paperwork, including timecards and service orders.
• Convey a neat, clean, friendly, and professional appearance.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

Reports to Service Supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to climb and work on a ladder up to 40 feet in height
• Ability to work off a 60-foot lift

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior service experience with in-home repair or installation
