Position Title: Field Service Technician (Confidential Client)

Location: Palo Alto, CA and Western, NC region | On-site

Compensation

• Total Cash Compensation: $25–$28 per hour, depending on experience (DOE), plus performance bonuses.


• Bonus: Once fully trained, the Technician will be eligible to participate in the quarterly and annual bonus program, with the opportunity to earn an additional $20,000+ annually.

Position Summary

The Field Service Technician will provide preventive maintenance and repair services for client's medical equipment within an assigned territory, covering approximately a 2–3-hour radius.

This role requires a detailed understanding of electromechanical systems, along with the tools and processes necessary to complete service work. The selected Technician will focus on delivering high-quality equipment service and building strong customer relationships to drive growth opportunities.

Primary Functions

• Maintain, repair, install, upgrade, and provide in-service training for medical equipment at customer locations, including medical facilities.


• Perform technical diagnosis and repairs, and prepare cost estimates for customer-owned medical equipment.


• Assist the Sales team in marketing company equipment through joint customer calls, in-services, sales leads, demonstrations, and trade show setup.


• Grow service contract revenue by selling new service contracts and renewing existing contracts.


• Complete and submit accurate service reports and documentation.


• Manage spare parts inventory.


• Travel daily to customer locations, with approximately 40% overnight travel required.

Must-Haves

• High school diploma or GED.


• Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly.


• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.


• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.


• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 75 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant training and/or certifications in electrical and mechanical assembly preferred.


• Sales experience preferred.
