Job Description - Field Service Technician II - Charlotte, NC
Two-year college degree (AA) preferred, with a major in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (equivalent education/work experience is accepted). 2+ years of field service equipment experience (preferred 2+ years in medical equipment). Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic systems and components. Familiarity with standard electronic test equipment, including Digital Multi-Meters and safety analyzers. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple service tasks effectively. Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time, including at short notice for multiple-day trips. Must have a vehicle for service that is five years or newer and meets company insurance requirements. Clean driving record. Ability to occasionally lift heavy items up to 75 lbs. Prior Technical Field Service, Biomedical, or Military technical MOS experience. Experience in Electrophysiology, Laser, Medical Imaging, or Cath Lab technical/clinical roles. Strong administrative, computer networking, and equipment troubleshooting skills. Experience in working within regulated environments and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
